[quote="Rapid"]Be thankful for what you have lads. I watched the game v Wolves and thought you were very unlucky, but some of you on here don't seem too happy. Automatic is looking a bit iffy for you now but you never know.
The play-offs is a lottery as we know (4 final defeats} but you need to stick with it.
At least you play entertaining football, but at the moment you are in a bad spell. As they say , class is permanent but form is temporary. Mac has got you on the front foot after the negative Nigel era, so good luck on the run in.
On a side note, Nigel is serving up the most boring brand of football ever witnessed at Bramall Lane. Ngative tactics, ie, taking strikers off while in front instead of trying to kill off games and always going on about how important it is not to lose a game so is always happy with a point. 20,000 turning up week after week will be 15,000 next season if we don't get up with fans s

Amazing isn't it? A set of fans who don't appreciate a manager coming in when a team is in the bottom half, reorganising them and only just missing out promotion after only being in charge for three-quarters of a season. That same manager then gets the team into 5th as we come into the business end of the season - but many fans still complain...and even incorporate such complaints into posts on the message boards of other clubs!

With Nigel's success in one off cup games with the Blades , you might think that they would have a good chance in the play-offs.
(But I still wouldn't want him and his style of play back with us.)

Not totally sure what Nigel inherited at Sheff Utd? If it was anything like the garbage he had to deal with when he arrived at Derby, he must be doing OK. He seems to be good at stabilising a club. Can't knock that, in my opinion.
