What good is that? Maybe Crewe alexendra should take him on as their boss.
I can think of Gestede , but no one else !
    Who were you meaning ?[/quote]

What I mean is it seemed he had more of a priority in developing individual players than having team success.

I`m not having a go for having a go`s sake , but isn`t that a managers job , to improve players and surely if players improve then the team does also .

    thats understood Sax.
I know we have laid into eachother over the years, but you have been thee more than once during very hard times.
I remember that more clearly than having the odd fal out over an opinion on footy. No offence taken.
I should not be bringing it to a bloody footy forum anyway, so the issue and problem is mine, not yours.
    Thankyou though, it means alot.

By bringing academy players through and selling on it allows town teams such as ours to survive
15000 attendance at best will not be enough or alternately you could put all your eggs in the basket and push for promotion
what awaits is a golden egg
sky/bt have made the prize of promotion over 100 million that is why so many clubs have gone all in
money and greed can be your biggest downfall sadly for us we have got ourselves in such a mess its now a necessity rather than a pipedream.

Saxo/JR - you make it sound as if Bowyer CHOSE to sell those players! Do you really think it was HIM who decided to get rid of Gestede?
And I simply don't know what you mean when you say he was more interested in developing individuals than the team. If anything, Bowyer's decision (probably mistaken) to leave King out a lot of the time was clearly based on the fact that he didn't regard King as a team-player.

If we blooded just youngsters and went down would that be acceptable?
Look at every single side that has gotten out of this division in recent times?
You will see one common donominater........a good balance of BOTH younger players AND experience.
Its the experience (imo) that actually gets you over the line.
Look at Burnley, Hull, Liecester, Boro (who have just spend £9m on proven experience to almost guarentee promotion) etc etc
