Hard to pass judgement on Blackman when he has hardly played and only once in his proper position!!

As much as I know he has the ability to be integral to DCFC, for months now we are carrying Chris Martin, and I think we are letting sentiment cloud judgement. Players should be judged on impact, and I dont feel we are getting enough from him, as we havent for months. Not just goals, but all round contribution to the team.

I would at least like to see Blackman get 2 or 3 games in the CF position to see if he offers more

Last night, played reasonable in H1 without being spectacular. got in positions well at times but again, didnt really work their keeper enough IMO

H2, they pressed up higher up the pitch and we didnt seem to have answers to that. Less fluidity to our play and ball retention

For me, once again our FBs played very well. Keogh and Shackell dealt with the aerial bombardment manfully. Butters scored a peach and tried to get us playing (cant wait to see h

People keep saying Blackman's best position is up front but he was top scorer in the league when we signed him and he had been playing on the right wing all season! I don't think he's been given a fair chance in that position because Russell and Ince have both been preferred instead of him.

None of our forwards are firing on all cylinders, in fact nowhere near. Butterfield on the other hand could be occupying half of the top ten goals of the season to himself as it stands. Of the new signings he's definitely the one that's adding value to his price tag.
