It must be very comforting for her Majesty to see that England fans are carrying on the street parties in her honour. UEFA could solve this tomorrow by ejecting both England and Russia from the tournament and announcing Wales and Slovakia through to the next round, but they won't cause they are "Fearties"

If you think it's bad just now could you imagine the riots if UEFA did send Russia and England home ?
Maybe they should ban both countries from partaking in the next euros. I don't know the answer but something has to be done. I just feel sorry for the residents of the places that are affected as well as the good behaved Russian and English fans that go along to support their country

No arguement from me on this one Bodie, Sadly there are thousands of good decent English fans there and in the eyes of the world they get tarred wi the same brush as the selfish idiotic minority. (I'm really not making a political point here) but perhaps a lesson from the Scots fans could be learned. They actually police themselves anyone steps out of line and their down on them like a ton O bricks. Its nae always been like that I well remember living in London in the 70s and the Scots fans would come down and were totally outrageous It was an embarrassment. But gradually the started taking responsibilty for their own behavior. Perhaps thats the answer to Englands hooligan prob.

The Rangers do not represent Scotland, Nigel, so if you're not going to condemn your fans rioting for 4 solid days, then best you keep your mouth shut. Oh, your memory is quite bad, you've posted this same nonsense on at least 3 threads today.

That could be the answer Stewarty but could you imagine the fans that had to take that first step to stop their own fans bad behaviour ? Brave man to do that. Also the English fans do have a bad reputation that the hooligans of other countries want to take them on. It's a bad situation and there must be an answer or it will just carry on tournament after tournament

Talking about the next tournament that's in RUSSIA ! now there's a frightening thought. To be fair the the English authorities they stopped a helluva lot of known bams traveling. I'm sure they will be studying all the footage and hopefully action will be taken once they return. But I do think fellow fans have a role to play. Again referring to the Scots the SFA now have a travel club and its vetted only those members have access to tickets. Perhaps the English could try something similar. But your right something has to be done.

I'm sure there will be repercussions for the hooligans. I was a member of the Scotland travel club for years. . I don't know how I managed to get through the vetting procedure . I used to love going to watch Scotland play

Yes Stewarty, I didn't mis a home qualifier for at least 15 years. I've got about 20 Scotland tops in my wardrobe although sadly some don't fit my larger frame now
I get them in the Tartan Army where if they step out of line a wee talking to might suffice They also wouldn't have the chance to run riot at a tournament because we never make it to one nowadays I don't think they would appreciate the football but then again they aren't watching the best football either
