McAuley dodgy.
McClean should be saved for next season. May do okay in the Championship.
Sturridge picked the wrong club!
Burke's best performance so far. Mind you he had done nothing before today.
Missed the Pole today. Been very good since Pardew took over.
Missed Gibbs also.
We had 2 decent penalty shouts.
Phillips started well, then got worse and worse and worse.
Survival looks very unlikely.

Probably the most frustrated I've been all season on Saturday. We can slate the players, some of them were awful. I thought Phillips had the worst game I've seen anyone have in Albion shirt for a long time.

However, the effort and commitment was there. The quality and the tactics weren't.

Even when we were 1-0 up we didn't look right. They had an extra midfield player because we had 2 up front and they have some very tidy players in possesion. We put a lot of hard yards in that game.

Ultimately we lost the game because we gave stupid goals away. 2nd goal was from a corner - Why did we not have a man on the back post?

3rd goal, Foster should have saved it. As soon as we started chasing the game we had problems because they are good on the ball and had more players in the middle of the pitch than us.

I've slated him all season, but we really needed a player like Livermore there in that game.

So Pardew has to take a bit of responsibility for this one. Strange team selection, where was Jrod? And being blatantly outnumbered in the middle of the pitch for the first 60 minutes of the game. Took off Sturridge at 3-1 down? Left Phillips on and he was having a mare? Nyom was super dodgy. I can't really slate Yacob and Barry because they were powerless to do anything against the extra man. McCauley is a good player, but he's been out of the team for 3 months so he's bound to be rusty.

We really need Evans, Gibbs and the Pole back as soon as possible. And Pardew has to find a system that works if he wants to play 2 up top
