New Signing speculation

With what's just gone off I've no confidence we'll sign anyone else. Notts are the laughing stock yet again.

I read today that Posh are trying to offload Jason Cummings due to him having personal problems there. Apparently as part of his loan from Forest it's up to Posh to find him another loan club if they want to cut it short. He's already turned down Lincoln and MK Dons as he doesn't want to play in the 4th Division, but perhaps it may be worth a cheeky suggestion as he perhaps still has a place in Nottingham (and it'll be in better condition than his apartment in Peterborough if you've heard the story!).

We won't be signing anyone from Forest while Hardy is still here, I'd say that has been made pretty clear. Cummings is apparently a bad egg anyway though, he supposedly trashed the place he was staying in and Posh fans can't wait for him to be out of there

Or we sign some spotty 15 year old from QPR, who spends more time falling over his feet than actually playing football. Sounds like our sort of panic/useless signing.

No but you would fix what's causing an that engine light to appear! We don't need cosmetic changes, we need an engine overhaul to be saleable

In my experience of buying cars on ebay, the seller uses one of those code machines to clear the engine light just before selling it. It usually comes back on during the journey home.

I'm not sure what the footballing equivalent of that is, probably getting Hewitt to have a good game. Then the buyers leave at half time and he reverts to type.

The equivalent would be dressing Hewitt up in one of these and parading him round the ground, pre match as a new signing.
