Last chance saloon for him but if he gets his form/fitness back he’ll murder that league.
Absolutely, if they can get him fit and on the pitch regularly he could be a real good signing for them.

I suppose Aberdeen look at how their players stand up against Celtic and Rangers...that's a big step up from Spennymoor, Chorley and Gloucester. That move backfired for Cal - he ends up lower than he started. But good luck to him, hope he has a winning season, no reason why he can't.

He's maybe not the brightest lad, but ability-wise before his injuries he looked destined for really good things. Moving to the SPL (Sh*ttest Premier League) was no more than a step up to League Two level, but Cal at his best should still have shone there. It's sad to see him having to step back to the same level he was at with Blyth Spartans, but if he can get anywhere near fit he'll be too good for that league again.

Surprising to see him now playing two levels below us. As others have said if he gets fit he'll tear that league apart.

Rumour has it that Chesterfield were in for him but they wouldn't meet the £25k fee

Even if he only plays half the games, he'll be an inspired signing.

I can’t believe he’s passed a medical without getting injured!

If you see who chesterfield fans claim to be signing, you have to wonder where their money is coming from, apparently (although same person who said they were signing Roberts) claims they're signing Dallas (he is leaving Solihull for EFL allegedly), Will Grigg who is probably still on a wedge and Tom Naylor.

There was a reason why he dropped down to that level in the first place, and there is a reason why he's dropped back down there again.
