I heard Les talking about this initiative a few weeks ago, he mentioned going out onto the pitch to knock the ball about and he described Dave Watson as initially having no idea what to do with it but gradually it all came back to him and then he was doing all of the old passing and trapping moves.
Great work by Les who's been helping ex-players with Alzheimer's for a while now.

I remember speaking and reminiscing with Bob Tait in the Debenhams restaurant before the Covid Lockdown. He was also a keen regular at the Notts County Former Players Association dinners .
It's a shame that time and illness can take away fondly held memories.
