Errrrrrrm I dont think you understand what the hard border question is about really. The EU are the ones who want the hard border to go up and has nothing to do with brexit per-say. The UK are more than happy to negotiate a no hard border deal with Ireland but because Southern Ireland will still be part of the EU and EU rules forbid private deals with countries outside the EU this cannot be done. So in reality the EU are the ones who are happy to throw Ireland under the bus not the UK.
Once out of the EU we could negotiate a no hard border within the deal made with the EU because we would hold all the cards after we leave. They know it and we know it lol simples.

Brexit Means Brexit anyone!
Any deal the UK and the EU could ever do would not be about the people of the UK it would only ever be about the large conglomerates and how to keep them happy.
Once out of the EU we hold the upper hand or does no one get that?
You are still not getting it, raging. Parliament did not 'agree' that no deal was the default. It was the natural and only possible consequence of voting to trigger Article 50.
When Article 50 was triggered, there became three ways forward:
1. Leave with a deal, which required that Parliament agree a deal:
2. Leave with no deal; and
3. Revoke Article 50.
Parliament has voted to take option 1 off the table by rejecting the only deal on offer. The only way for it to take option 2 off the table is to vote to revoke Article 50.
It is not necessary for Parliament to 'allow the default position to pass'. They had their vote when they triggered Article 50.
If article 50 is revoked then that is the end of the Conservative party as it will implode. This is why the only way forward for them is a HARD Brexitier to lead us out of the EU with NO Deal because it is the only way to save them.
Isn't voting for a Couldn't they vote for a confirmatory referendum a 4th option?
And if it came to a vote in Parliament between no deal and revoke, based on previous voting patterns, which do you think would win? Genuine question, it seems to be revoke to me based on the No Deal vote. But then again, there hasnt been a straight :revoke' vote yet has there? Wouldn't a vote for 2nd referendum be more likely?
Raging your missing the point mate. If any of those were viable options do you not think that May would still be PM?
The majority of the Conservative party want to deliver Brexit and the only way to do that now is to leave on WTO terms and no deal.
