There's about 40 bars within walking distance of pittodrie, that can't cope on big games. Afc1903 thinks the 600 capacity bar will be fine. Can't guess how long it would take to get served even when not overflowing.

The money was conditional on filling in the gardens to street level.

"The vision is transformational - a street-level square with the very large space over the Denburn Road and railway covered in.
"I see this as the 'people's square' with something for everyone, and how that square will be developed, both above and below ground, is open to public debate."

    I would tend to agree.

I think the outcome will be a training complex at Kingsford and either a redeveloped Pittodrie (it can be done) or a new stadium the other side of Golf Road.

No chance Milne and co will bother their arse with a training complex.

Is there room for a stadium there?

The sad thing is that if we don't get the go-ahead, it will impact our ability to attract better players going forward.
    Add in management to boot.
He'll even Partick and Ross County will have better training facilities.

Never mind though, folk can still go to the Bobbin, Pittodrie bar or the Bon Accord golf club to watch our dwindling team.

    It will mean nothing.

Training facilities will get built on their own very soon after either there, Balgownie or somewhere that definitely won't be rejected.

Fans will be sick of the process and get angry at Milne, after they've stopped going ballistic at other fans and nimbys. Kings Links will be looked at properly, one would assume, given the training at Kingsford/stadium at Kings Links scenario described in the site assessment.

Once the hysteria dies down, people will look back at Kingsford and think of the bullet dodged.

At this rate McInnes will be managing in the Championship at Nottingham Forest or something next July anyway, even if approved.

Money attracts players and managers. Stevie May doesn't play for Partick and McInnes doesn't manage Ross County.

The need for training facilities shouldn't end with not getting a new stadium.

    Your short sightedness is exemplary

McInnes lamented that guys like Shinnie and McLean were repeatedly asking about the progress with the training facilities.
Guys like these and indeed McInness will not stick around with promises continually broken.

Let's get the steps at Seaton park re-instated. That'll do in this modern age
