At risk of micro analysing one goal, Freeman did ****nit up, the defence more widely gave no cover, the attacker was 20 yards out and had a long think about what he was going to do.

The Crisp was flat footed and slightly too far to his near post. His dive was slow and he hardly left the ground. The shot was good but hardly world class. He should have gotten a hand to it.

The defence wouldn't have been thinking Freeman was about to misplace a simple 5 yard pass. Stop the schoboy error and the goal wouldn't have stood. That's the best way to analyse it. F*cking amateur stuff when you put a 5 yard pass 2 yards wide of its target.

Goodwin is not getting my support next season if this c*nt ever plays a competitive game for us again. Five straight defeats and failure to avoid relegation was bad enough but to not ditch the biggest culprit will be totally unforgivable. I repeat....

Yeh Freeman phucked it up initially, but I know it’s only a friendly but the whole thing encapsulated last season’s problems. From Freeman’s misplaced pass there are then a couple of opportunities to win the ball back lost through saft as schite ‘tackles’, with the boy then running forward totally unchallenged by defenders, finally culminating in the shot that Poppadom could’ve/should’ve kept out. Garbage from start to finish.

BTW Poppadom genuinely looks like the wee-est laddie in an under 10s team stuck in full size goals because naebody else wants to play in goal. Just hit it literally anywhere on target and it’s guaranteed in.

My son's opinion mirrored your last two sentences almost word for word.To the other poster who mentioned amateur,my young lad said watching his team playing a junior side and United's game on Saturday the only difference was more talking in the pro match compared to his but very little difference in standard.
