A few folk looking at May, would you sell him or loan him? He must have a few years left on his deal. I think he's only scored 8 times in 2 seasons! Pretty poor return
He's got 2 years left.
He'd be on around £3k per week?
That's over £300k of wages.
If St Mirren or St Johnstone paid him/offered him say £1500 per week. That's over £150k of wages of a shortfall
We'd likely have to agree to pay some of that shortfall to lose him permanently
Either that or we loan him out for 12 months.
If we pass round a few collection buckets at the European game I'm sure we could get enough donations to get him to leave. As long as he's not anywhere near our team next season I don't care if it's loan or let go. I can't suffer another season of him. I suspect he'll go back to St Johnstone - they still consider him a hero there.
Edit - I should say, I've no ill feeling towards the guy, I actually feel sorry for him, his effort is not in question, but he's just not good enough anymore - that's the sad reality.

Agree with all of that.
I've nothing against him.
He tried as hard as he could and worked his nuts off.
He's just not the player he was, through no fault of his own.
Certainly not a player I'd hold any bad feeling towards, or give stick to if he comes back to play against us.
