Neilson done well and whichever division we are in next season he is the one to be backed.
Winning mentality is getting going - long may it continue

It is fundamental for a keeper to be a "fine shot stopper" or they are in the wrong job. Being good at grabbing balls in the air , especially from set pieces, and also having good distribution seems to be a bonus these days.
I quite liked Deniz when he was fit and would have liked to see him get another go,but, this might not be the time to change things too drastically(with any keeper) Then again , if Benji drops another few clangers in the run-in we might regret not trying another keeper.
Do agree, the defence seemed a little edgy after that mistake and we can't afford a nervous defence in the games coming up.
Do like the fact that this team isn't crumbling when going behind, even though the football isn't the best to watch ,they seem to believe that a match can still be won.
Definitely right.
Hard to nab a permanent keeper in the January sales.
If we’d had a quality keeper I reckon we’d not have dropped the points at Falkirk and Partick - that alone would have us a lot closer to the top
Benji shows flashes which is why disappointing when he lets himself down - problem is that teams now will be targeting him with crosses and the kind he’s flapped at a few times to our cost
A reliable keeper is *****, breeds confidence in the defence and team, benji has done OK at times but has glaring weaknesses that have cost pts, Alloa away was another
These were obvious situations where he could have claimed the crosses or punched them
Hopefully he can improve this for the remaining matches
Personally I hate a keeper that punches a lot - gives me the fear. Just love the old fashioned, coming out claiming it and CATCHING IT - danger is over then
I do appreciate that this is now seen as old fashioned. Often keepers might need to punch if can’t get to ball otherwise. I’d like it though if at all other times it was a proper catch
I would love a keeper that could punch a ball away. Prefer them to catch it but a punch oot area into clear would be wet pants time. Siegrist doesnt connect with the ****er mosty of the time. Some nice saves though maybe stay on his line from now on though as its not his strong point
With the current defensive set up it is imperative that a keeper catches the ball.
We have 10 outfield players in the box, the opposition have 8 so it is incredibly crowded, a genuine attempt to catch the ball would probably bring a foul, if not caught then he could punch. But with the mass ranks in the box it means that as soon as its punched clear it goes to the opposition and pinged back in straight away putting pressure on instantly.
