A replay means cancelling Flyde game, and if we get through Torquay away will be cancelled, and folks have booked time off work and hotels to go for the weekend.

The answer surely lies between the 2 arguments.
Play every player who needs match practice ( eg Fitz + Bakayogo + Dennis + Tyson + Crawford ++
Rest every player who has been/ nearly been ever-present (eg Wootton + Enzio + Slocombe + Rose + Doyle ++

Try and win with that team, if we do then great - if we don't then so what.

The idea of not wanting to win this is bizarre to me. We haven’t won a domestic cup since 1894 and we haven’t played at the new Wembley, it’d be great. Obviously the league takes priority and at this stage it’s a good chance to give some squad players game time, but I certainly hope we win on Saturday and keep progressing in it.

Quite clearly, nobody associated with Notts wants a draw.
If it is a draw with 10/15 minutes to go, then go for it.
If we leave ourselves open and get caught out, it won't be a disaster.

Great opportunity for the fringe players, let's hope one or two take their chance like Lacey did at Chesterfield

Use it to keep fringe players fit.
We have a second squad that should be good enough to win it!

Indeed, I remember the epic 4-3 win over Kettering Town that clinched it like it was yesterday.
