I agree perky we’re desperate for a quality striker because if Cole gets injured we’re snookered.
Let’s just hope the French lad is a decent defender.

Very lucky point 5-1 wouldn’t have flattered them.
Midfield a massive problem today in my opinion we were very poor with just nobody occupying a holding role.
Weak midfield puts pressure on the defence and it was there for all to see.
Best player on the pitch Luke Thomas a thorn in our side from start to finish !
Desperately need big man up front that can hold the ball up.

    That was horrible.
We look tired team - especially midfield - and it showed a lack of fit players available.
We were lucky to get a draw.

    MOTM - Lopata.
MOTM for them - attacking midfielder called Thomas - looked a reyt player - and looked like a player worth £1 Million.
So we are a high pressing team then are we ?

This HC has never seen a high press in his life .

I'd be embarrassed to have coached that shambles if were Collins .

It doesn't get more shambolic than the goal we gave away , this really shouldn't happen and the reason I'm so angry this evening .

Today's performance really worried me because even though results weren't always great early last season and there was some iffy performances we always had structure and organisation .

I can't even begin to tell you how bad that goal is to give away .

    What !?!?!

    Yes.
Up to us scoring we looked fairly solid - the press was working well - and I was expecting us to go on and score 2 or 3 more.
And then suddenly all the urgency seemed to leave all the players.

    It’s Collins 2nd game FGS.

Collins said it would probably be the most difficult away match this season.
Why should he say that when we have to go to places like Portsmouth, Bolton etc.
IMO - it’s because the team is in flux - we have a string of injuries - we have at least 4 players that could be leaving - and there could be players coming in. Hence a bench full of kids.

As I’ve said - it was horrible.
But to a degree it was understandable.
There’s reasons behind some of it.
But if I were Collins I’d be asking why the players suddenly took their foot off the gas.

Int it great to see this message board light up.
Especially when compared to last week after we won 7-0.

Really hoping that Luca is back for the next game, I think Phillips has one more game of his ban to serve?
If Collins didn’t notice that Russell looks like he’s towing a truck when he chases back or constantly passes stupid balls straight to the opposition, and plays him again instead of young Chapman if Luca isn’t fit then he needs sacking now!
I was honestly hoping the ref would send him off after he’d been booked and made a silly tackle! Most of their attacks came from his sloppiness or inability to get back.
