For me, he is well past his best. Knows only to pass sideways or backwards and cannot last 90 minutes. Heading of the ball is way sub standard. Like the fella but it's a fact he's not up to 1st team work. Good squad/cover player.
I have been advocating Thorpe as a future star and although he slipped badly with defending their 1st goal I would rather back him than Greeny.
