I agree with all that. But who else did anything to create anything. It was all square passing, no telling pass going forward. Reason being we had no height, presence up front. Ajayi & Emmanuel were two of our better players. Ref' was yellow card happy.

Good point in the end. I said at half time a point would be ok because we never looked like scoring though strangely enough we looked more like scoring when down to 10 men. I'm not gonna argue with woods sending off but i am pissed off that similar fouls by them were not deemed bookable. You can count on one hand the number of decent refs we have had this season and even that might be too many fingers.

Thought our defence was pretty decent, but after a string of corners for them in quick succession we were always gonna crack eventually. They were rubbish though.

The Ryan Taylor celebration was a bit disrespectful and he said he was doing it for his dad but even then a bit insensitive.

MOM: Mattock was chosen. Wasn't my MOM but at least didnt do owt spectacularly disastrous. Wood played ok but his clumsiness costs him when there is an over zealous ref who doesnt take this into account. Thought Emmanuel and Ajayi had decent games and Towell in midfield who tried to make things happen. Both Ball and Yates are crying out for a big striker to play off which is a must in January when Moore leaves us, Think there has been a lot of harsh comments for Vaulks who did still look a bit unfit today but he slotted in well in centre defence and always does his best. Frecks a good cameo role.

Rodak. 2 iffy long kicks str into touch. How about the near post save to keep it 0.0. nothing he could do about the goal. Very good distribution first half. Best keeper at the club by a country mile.
Mattock, best game for a while. Nothing special but at least did his main job, stopping the cross into the box.
Wood. Kept Taylor quiet till poor control got him a early bath.
Ajayi good game, motm for me. Goal will give him confidence.
Emmanuel. Decent game. Did everything needed for a fullback.
Forde. Think he's a good impact player when opposition are slowing down. Good crossing though without the height it's always easy for big defenders. Did well in defence.
Vaulks did well at the back. Offered little going forwards. 4th choice midfielder when all fit.
Towell. Worked hard but wish he would not want 3 touches every time he gets the ball. He always looked to go forwards
Williams. Ran the fullback ragged all game though it was all for nothing as the target ball/Yates are never winning the ball in the air Vs two big CB
Ball. Very close to motm. Some of his skills were of better than league one. The 40 yard punt from ajayi he plucked out of the air was class.
Yates. Not much happened today for him, don't recall him making mistakes or doing anything worth while.
Pretty much agree with most of that.
Not a game that will live long in the memory though.

Yes we were saying for most of the game that we didn't have anyone capable of unlocking their packed defence. Our midfield was square for most of the game and rarely did anyone take a chance and drive forward.
As you say, most of the passing was sideways and backwards which was frustrating to watch. It might have been different if Jon Taylor had been available, at least he's got pace and always tries to get forward.

How can you have a keeper when everytime the opposition get a corner defence know they got to clear the ball cause Keeper won't come for a ball that's his. Rodak will cost Warney his job.

Warne has to man up, & tell Tony Stewart he can't hack the managers job, go back to fitness coach, let his friends Barker & Pollitt go to pastures new.
Barker brings nothing to the table, & with our keepers not up to standard, it shows Pollitt is not doing a good job.

Have to agree Eric. But Warne will not manup as he sees it different. TS seems to be blind to the backroom staffs input as he says he knows nowt about football.

The subs should have been on earlier, before they scored. Players were tiring and fresh legs against a poor team, could have took the lead.
