TWO superb posts by JTulip with lots of innovative ideas which hopefully the commercial team fully explore
and maybe could take some of Mr / Mrs / Ms Tulip's ideas forward

Joe Tulip's energy and enthusiasm is fantastic.

It may not be possible at the moment for The Trust to have fan representation on the Board, - but far better that (through Joe) they provide some truly fantastic ideas for the Board to discuss in full and ultimately implement.

95 % of what Joe had to say made complete sense, and if adopted the club would be much better off.

Not convinced reducing prices overall makes economic sense, - but reducing the price of the season ticket is a brilliant idea, - reopening the gate to the East Stand should be a given , (except for sell out games) cleaning seagull excrement off seats should be an absolute priority, making sure the catering people have the ability to re-stock chips and pies during games, and encouraging kids to come with a small incentive is so bindingly obvious.

Add to that the need to encourage Junior Blues sales and to introduce a post Junior Blues ticket for the under 25's to keep the fan base for the future and w

    2. Promote the junior blues season ticket much harder. It is really superb value. In the past when the Trust was promoting it there were about 800 junior blues but now I think that number is about half. >>

That's a very worrying statistic what with us having an ageing support
Is it the Trust who still helps run the Junior Blues are is it all down the Queens ?

The club deserve all the credit for the turnaround in our fortunes over the last 4-5 seasons but there's quite clearly some issues that need addressed ASAP

The youngsters are the future of all football clubs

Nunez, - you are totally correct, youngsters are the future of any club whether it be a football club, the Scouts, the WRI or the church, and sadly all clubs, including golf clubs seem to be dying out because no one seems to be bothered any more to belong.

Football has been killed by TV, - but live football will always be better in my humble opinion. Even watching the 20's on a freezing cold Tuesday night against Queens Park was far better than watching some over priced players prancing about on TV. However, the problem we have to face was highlighted by Joe Tulip and that is how do we entice young people away from the comfort of their 'phones, tablets, computers and game consoles?

There are a variety of possibilities, but even the smallest of incentives would be a start.

This issue is way beyond the responsibility of the Board of Directors, - and simply pointing a finger at them and saying "fix it" is unfair and unjust.

Perhaps though the Trust (and the supporters who

Just to say well done to Joe Tulip for taking the time to lay out such a range of ideas. And as far as I can see from a distance, the Trust is doing a good job.

nunez - the Queens Trust currently provides no help towards the Junior Blues that I can think of. In recent years we were helping produce the magazine and do some kids training sessions and competitions etc with the club doing the admin.
