    1st Half
    Steady away.
We look like we can’t lose - but we’ve seen that before this season - and lost.
Morgie players not playing today - and dunt it show.
But still too tippy tappy for my liking in the last 3rd.
FGS someone put their foot through it and have a shot.
IMO - not a sending off.
    Russell looking good.
And if Kane can get the top side of Humphries then we might have a chance here.

I’m going to have to stop being such a pessimist, I thought we were in a a right hiding but I thought we played well that first half.
Cotter having a good game and Shepherd looks steady but hasn’t been put under pressure yet so time will tell. Even if we don’t come away with the three points we’ve still put in a decent performance.
Is it a coincidence that Kitching and Styles aren’t playing?

We go to a flat midfield three as per last season and ditch the number 10 and we look a different proposition .

Even before the sending off we looked way better , the midfield lads know their roles , Herbie Kane , Philips and Russell know this system and can create a block of five with the wing backs that protects the back three and leaves no gaps .

Wigan were having to stop and come back or inside to try and penetrate us which they didn't .

Roberts hasn't had anything to do .

My only concern is the tired legs on the hour and still only a goal up .

Be smart Mr Collins , you have to get this right .

All did well. We will never know how it would have gone with 11 a side, but thought we managed well. Glad we didn’t sit back for last 20. A start.

I’m chuffed to be proved wrong I never expected that and I’m more surprised with who I thought was M.O.T.M, Russell, I thought he strolled around the middle of the pitch today.

Yes Russell was a lot better today
Mcatee looked lively despite the open goal miss
