re: We will be relegated this season

When we took place we had to win three games against top-six opposition at the business end of the season. We did it, so we had a bit more than luck on our side. But we did get some 'breaks' - Billy McKay's miss; big John's collision with Jamie Langfield could both have gone against us. This season we're a bit short on the breaks. I don't believe that you always make your own luck - any golfer who has driven straight down the fairway only to find the ball in a divot will tell you that - but what you don't do is use bad luck as an excuse. We have enough players who have what it takes to get us some results (I saw them do it at Parkhead). They've got a couple of weeks to sort things out before what looks like a very early six-pointer against Dee.
It's time to step up to the plate/ stand up and be counted or any other cliche you like to use.
Finally, can anybody explain to me what value there is in hurling quite awful abuse at our guys at the first sign of a misplaced pass or a miskick?

I don't think we did carry much luck last season. We suffered a fair few injuries, although not as many as this season. We had some legit goals wrongly chalked off and won very few penalties despite a good few being stonewallers. Penalties against - again we were on the wrong end of a fair few - Saint Mirren's late one when the ball struck McManus in the face for example. You also have Rusell Anderson's handball goal at Fir Park.
