I'll tell you why I vote Tory and that is because I don't want a Marxist prime minister who appears to abhor everything that being British stands for. If he had his way we'd end up like Venezuala, whose leader he idolises. Look what a mess they are in! There was nothing wrong with the Labour Party until we had to endure Tony Blair, who was further to the right than the Tory party and now Jeremy Corbyn, who is so far to the left that he makes Marx look like a moderate.

I don't agree with everything Labour says or does, but I do detest the Tories and yes I can't understand why anyone would vote in favour of the Cons or Brexit. Unless you wield lots of influence or wealth and want more of it.
The Print media were not all in favour of Brexit by any stretch. They were split between Remain and Leave. The Mail on Sunday, The Guardian, The FT, The Times, The Mirror and The Observer all carried editorials asking people to vote Remain. Then we have the BBC who clearly were in favour of Remain. Labours problem was that no one knew if they were for Remain or Leave. Even their own ministers seemed clueless yet many Labour strongholds voted Leave so traditional Labour (and Tory) heartlands played a key role in the vote.
