For me they are the most dysfunctional family going who like most aloof folk have not got a clue how hard it is for the normal person, the only Royal Family in the world that get yearly handouts (from its subjects), other Royals in different Countries spend their own money and survive very well, but ours are the richest in the world and yet they still take take and take.

Hardly begins to answer my question though does it Alfie. They all seem to adore that fat oaf in North Korea, but you can understand why, nobody gets thrown into the Tower for dissing the Monarchy, in this country there's no compelling reason to like them, but millions do, and it remains an incredibly popular institution.

As with Alfie Alto, I'm not disputing what you say, doesn't answer my question either though. I was wondering if anyone could explain their popularity, I can't.

It's inter-generational stuff passed down from those who can still remember the British Empire.

You know the sort of rulers most of our monarchists love: all in-breds, racists, slave owners and beneficiaries of inherited wealth, usually passed down from the proceeds of the rape and pillage of all the countries we invaded and stole their wealth and material assets from.

The French, Russians and Germans had it right, our ancestors just got slaughtered in their thousands. Just put it down to a British thing!

I can only guess Sinkov, I suppose its something to look up to in their lives (Sad Lives IMO), like religion is, same as some people (mostly women) who I watched on the game show Cash Trapped the other day, she follows Take That to all their gigs, my question is the same as yours, Why ?

The Radio presenter on the talk show LBC (he only does 2 late evenings) Nick Abbot absolutely tears the Royals apart when picked up on the subject, he's very funny but a lot of what he feels about the Royals I agree with.

Got a deal for you all.

Send me a £100.00 a month and I will let you peer through the gates of my castle and touch your forelocks when I can be arsed to come and see you!

    It's phooking madness!

    Attachment 6419

One claimed DLA for his now deceased son and the other one can't get child tax credits for his third child because the other one stopped them.

Sorry Norder I did read it, seemed an improbable theory to me, but it is an explanation of sorts, more than I can come up with.

Tell you the deal I want BT, Bercow's. Speaker of the House of Commons, better scam than Royalty. You can be one of those Prince chappies, I'll be Speaker, better gig by miles.
