For example a typical Brit from Rotherham has a much lower academic attainment than the average for the country.
Arguing that someone's race is the cause is basically like arguing people from Rotherham are genetically dumber than the rest of the population, which isn't the case. It just makes the person making such a claim look like an idiot and offers nothing to solving the actual root problems which are addressable.
