I think they are going to sign a high dollar striker or CB. Have no idea who but they've cleared money to do so.

If it's a striker then they traded out. If they don't, I think thinks it as much of a vote of confidence on bamford as MB thinks that the other players will score.

if it's a solid CB then he's counting on the mids to score. He may even go with one of the youngsters at striker. bamford won't make it 10 games before he's injured again.

If we sell Roofe and rely solely on Bamford I'm done with backing their decisions. We will never go up with one striker.

I'm not a fan of 4 year contracts, too often we've given new players these and then been unable to shift them until their contract expires. With Bogusz, nobody really knows yet if he is actually going to be good, he has shown flashes but so do so many players, I wouldn't be giving a 4 year contract to someone who has proven nothing yet.

But then we risk him being in the final 12 months of his contract by this time next year.
If he has a good season and develops in to the player he looks like he could be, we'll be on the back foot again and looking to simply get what we can from his sale.
Surely, given the promise he's shown, we could discuss an extension of, say a year, with improved terms or even an extension on his current contract.
As I said, maybe it's just me, maybe I'm seeing things that just aren't there but we seem to be the only club who has this same problem year after year.
