None of our keepers are very good. Here is how I'd describe them;

Crosses
Ashby-Hammond - for a big keeper, struggles under the high ball

Stone - Vampire, stuck to his line

Slocombe - best of the three on crosses but still a weak part of his game

Shot Stopping
Ashby-Hammond - ok with the higher shots but really bad low down

Stone - He's a liability on this, when the opposition have a ****, he normally ends up in the net

Slocombe - Age is catching up to him, fast shots beat him easily but again, he's probably the best of the three overall

Distribution
Ashby-Hammond - is decent with this side of the game

Stone - was bought in for his distribution but normally hits it too long or slices it out

Slocombe - he may look like Neuer but he's no sweeper keeper

So over all, if we want an actual keeper to keep the ball out, Slocombe is our best chance and that isn't a great one. If we want a midfielder in goal, why not just put a midfielder in goal? Bostock has a bit of height and would probably be a better shot stopper than Stone anyway
