Without meaning to sound complacent we really need to be going there with a mindset of winning the game and scoring a couple of away goals to boot. This is a team that has only won 6 out of 21 league games this season in a league that in European performance terms is ranked 47 out of 55. I really really hope that McInnes doesn't have a sit in and be happy with 0-0, whilst trying to nick an away goal approach.

My fear is DM will try and play it cagey and slow (given the heat) and be happy with a 0-0

I don't see why May would have any interest in joining Dundee. He's a dead cert for Saints - still treated as a hero in Perth, and can't see why he would drop down a division and join one of their biggest rivals. Sounds like he passed the medical, so not sure what the hold up is - maybe just trying to squeeze an extra few quid out of them. I imagine Saints will want it sorted out quickly, so I'd expect it to be a done deal by the weekend.

Hope Ash Taylor is fit very soon as I don’t want McInnes spending anything we have left on a central defender. We are crying out for creativity and I would rather we focused on looking to improve the team on that front first. Get better soon Ash Taylor.

I think he’ll go for a versatile defensive player on loan for 6 months who can cover central defence and also right back or midfield - Dom Ball type guy.

I assume we’ve got no decent centre backs coming through at U20 level?
