He’s a player that’s hard to find and, therefore, would be very expensive to replace. I know his injury record isn’t good but I would be very sad to see a natural and physically strong goal scorer leave the club.
Keep Isak and Wilson and get a younger understudy striker to cover and for the future.
Totally agree, I think Wilson still has something left in the tank, he's a typical poacher in front of goal. Keep him for another season especially if we get into Europe.

    It's a real quandary indeed.

He gets goals but doesn't play enough games.

There really isn't a cut and dry answer to this one is there?

I'd be happy for him to stay absolutely.
If he went for £20m and that facilitates 2 strikers who will next season cover the goals Wilson provides I'd also be happy.

Either way Wilson has my full support, respect and admiration for his bullet proof iron clad self-belief and will power. A true professional.

That covers it pretty well, Raga.

if he stays, I'll be happy enough although we definitely need a young, up and coming star to come in and share the second striker duties with Wilson. Someone beginning to make a name for themselves but who hasn't broken through yet so would be happy not to start every week.

A striker version of Hall, if you like.

We’d have won today if Wilson had been available from the bench. The game was begging for a 6 yard box poacher - Isak needs to improve on that aspect of his game.

Alas, he was missing again through injury. Quite the conundrum.

I mean it was very Wilson - 2 days ago talking about pushing for Euro squad, today was to injured to make match day squad.

I think Wilson is certainly worth keeping. He scores important goals, and if another young striker was brought in we would always have two out of the three available, with Isak, as well as Gordon in the mix as well

Read somewhere that he felt “unwell” rather than injured,so might be ok for wed night if it’s just a bug,and not a muscle strain.

Yeah, this is a prime example of why we should sell. Fking frustrating and annoying this kind of shiit. It won't improve as he gets older either. Now is the time to sell.

    ....and I like the guy.

That was Isaak I believe, had been feeling unwell in the week so was brought of earlier rather than on for whole game.
