Still a few players short though, perhaps some of the Downes cash will be used to boost the squad.
No word on high earners Fulton and Bennett leaving yet, which could stop any transfers in.

The last friendly before season proper starts next Saturday
Charlton 1 (Darling og) - Swansea 2 (Piroe, Manning)
Swans very poor first half, Charlton looked like the Championship team. Darling calamitous early own goal set the standard.
Much better second half, we should have scored more but for some good saves by their goalie.
Onwards to Rotherham next week.

First half was the worst performance by a Swans team in a long time.
Played a back four, Charlton high press worked a treat, Latibeaudiere given the run around by their winger.
Second half reverted to a back three and much better.
Still wide open to the counter, and playing out from the back, same as last season, will Martin ever learn?
Transfer stalemate.
Our highest paid player Ryan Bennett still here. Good player though he is, he doesn’t fit into Martin’s plans, has not been given a squad number and will not play for us again.
Are interested clubs waiting until the end of the Transfer Window to save a months salary or will we have to subsidise any move?
Until he goes our badly needed right-back is not coming in due to us needing to balance the books.
