    We signed Thorne. That was it really, any ambitions of improvement were centred entirely around him. The players brought into defence were nothing better than was already here, questionably not as good in Christies case.

    Then in January we went out and splashed out on expensive forward and two expensive wide players.

    That seemed to have given us the goals initially but the problem is as Rob has said, once form dips or injuries kick in to forward players the pressure is on the defence and it just isn't good enough. The fact that the selection has been so inconsistent sh

    Ridiculous comments on Bryson. He ran the midfield all game. He's been called headless chicken, but I thought on Friday night he played an incredibly disciplined game, and didnt get carried away running out of position. He even overshadowed Hughes

    Lindgard did OK, but Ince and Russell were very disappointing
