Perhaps Ronnie was in a very good side with some very good players alas proctor will not be.

Why don't we just give him a chance, how many teams sign players with a great reputation and it did not work out, and others sign with no record and go on to do well. I don't know who we think we are as a team Sheff United won this league last year and I bet I don't know half there players tbh. If they gel we may have a chance of doing well if they don't we will have another season in l1, It's not the end of the world either way. A good season is all I want and to win some games with some decent football. I can see JCH being a bit of a gem this year hopefully the year off will have made the penny drop

I agree I think JCH will shine like a Gem I have every confidence that he will be a pain in the arse to any team that plays us. I have a feeling that him and ball will push our front forward.

I just don't think we will have cover for them though at the moment.

Tom Pope was a record signing for us and delivered nothing. He went to Port Vale on a free and couldn't stop scoring.

He would have to be in a wheelchair with external fixation on two broken legs to fail a medical with us.

Don't forget the obligatory groin strain.

He didn't fail any medical but that would be a surprise if he did

He's signed just waiting for his bonus pay from Bolton to be sorted

My prediction is that within 2 weeks he will be booked in for a 'hernia' repair'
