    RIP fella.
I've had a look into it, and he finished third in the 1978 selection, behind the winner "Bad Old Days" by Co-Co, which flopped in the contest. Christian's song was "Shine It On", written by Bill Martin & Phil Coulter. They also wrote "Puppet on a String", Sandie Shaw's winning entry in 1967.

Co-Co included Cheryl Baker who went on to Eurovision glory in 1981 with Bucks Fizz... whose 2nd UK number one Land of Make Believe was written by Peter Sinfield... who was in King Crimson with Robert Fripp... who went on to record in Berlin with David Bowie... who recorded with
LL ... who won Eurovision in 1969 with Boom Bang a Bang.... which is pure filth

    David Wilkie.

Olympic gold medalist at the 76 Olympics. Gone at the age of 70.

Retired at the age of 22.

I met him once when I was a kid. He was going around swimming clubs giving kids encouragement in their swimming. The one and only sport I was ever any good at.

I'm sure I was told he was from Aberdeen, but I don't think that's the case.
