Could you perhaps convert the points to make them relative to appearances - ie Ojo with 2 points in 10 appearances has a crapp rating of 0.2, while Devlin with 2 points in 5 appearances has a crapp rating of 0.4, and Considine with 4 in 14 scores 0.3 in crappness. I think it shows that Devlin is currently the crappest of the crappers we have in our crapp team

Initially the points was a direct relation to the number of conceded goals they were directly involved in conceding.
I picked appearances, but arguably, its not ideal as it doesn't factor in if / when they were subbed / got on, when the goals were conceded. To do that you'd need minutes played and that's going too far than I'm prepared to manage
It just adds a flavour of whether they've played more or less.

Interestingly, since you brought up Devlin, of the 5 games he's played in, we have conceded 4 goals of which he was at fault for 2 of them, so 50% of the goals conceded when he's played, he's been culpable for.
