Uwe Rosler has admitted that Wigan are looking to wrap up their January business as soon as possible. The Latics boss has already added Nicky Maynard and Tyias Browning to the side in his first transfer window with the club, while Grant Holt has joined Aston Villa on loan. Rosler has not finished his shopping yet, though.
I'm hoping to add a couple of players before the end of the transfer window, but I would prefer to do any business sooner rather than later.

it's official
Wigan Athletic are delighted to announce the signing of Chelsea and England Under-21 midfielder Josh McEachran on loan until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old becomes Uwe Rosler’s third signing after Tyias Browning and Nicky Maynard, and is eligible to play in this weekend’s FA Cup fourth round clash against Crystal Palace at the DW Stadium.
Rosler said: “This is a big scoop or us. There’s no doubt Josh is a huge young talent, and we have worked really hard to convince him and Chelsea this is the right place for him to be for the rest of the season.
“I thank everyone for their efforts in making the move happen. Hopefully, we will be able to help each other, he can bring something to our team and we can help in the development of one of the country’s finest young talents.”
McEachran began the campaign on loan at fellow Championship side Watford, making seven league appearances for the Hornets under Gianfranco Zola before returning to Stamford Bridge.

Cardiff City are closing in on the signing of Wigan defender Ivan Ramis, Sky Sports understands.
The 29-year-old had been reported to be a target for Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest, but he now looks set for a switch to South Wales.
Ramis joined the Latics from La Liga side Mallorca in 2012, although injuries have limited the Spaniard to just seven Championship appearances so far this season.
The defender is midway through a three-year contract at the DW Stadium which is set to expire in 2015.
Cardiff have already been active in the current transfer window, adding Mats Moller Daehli from Molde and Magnus Wolff Eikrem from Heerenveen.
