Racking my brains here and after first thinking Sugababes (I know I know), the only serious one for discussion I came up with was ACDC given that Back In Black was created with Brian Johnson a year after Bon Scott's death.

Not really my cup of tea anyway.[/quote]

Emergency by 999 is not only the greatest punk song ever, it is the greatest song of all time. There are other 999 songs which would come (in my list) far above anything on here. For example I'm Alive, Nasty Nasty, Feelin' Alright With The Crew, My Street Stinks well I could go on.

If you count the Cramps as a punk band, the their version of Green Door is brilliant.

My personal favourite Clash track is Gates of the West.

I really like the new Midlake lp, better than the last one when Tim Smith was the singer.

Can't agree with Pents on The Buzzcocks, Howard Devoto is a great front man and wrote better songs than Pete Shelleys twee drivel. Magazine were twice the band The Buzzcocks were imo

The thread's about punk, Chism. Not acid guzzling hippy nonsense.

Trust you to try & move the subject to a tangent of your choosing!
