I know our season to date has been awful but it is interesting in seeing some on here writing off Ardley's chances of keeping us up on the back of a 2-0 defeat to a team about 44 places above us, who were in recent history playing in the PL and were fielding players with PL experience or who cost £4 million after Ardley having worked with the squad for less than a week.

I think we were basing that opinion on all the other games before he arrived.

Although I did not see the game, surely an own goal and a penalty, away against a team 44 places above us is not a disgrace.
