    Really enjoying the World Cup. Some great surprises, Canada even though they lost were one of them. Superb football just poor finishing.

    Canada really outplayed Belgium in the 1st half, and should have had two more penalties.

    A lot of teams you wouldn’t even consider are catching up. Much more competitive.

    The big teams can afford to lose games.
    It would only be a surprise if other then any of the usual mob get there.
    Most likely same old same old.
    Bit like European football competition.

    Germany did finish last in their group the last WC - after Sweden, Mexico and S Korea…

    Its the first chance I've had to sit down and watch a match from beginning to end including the national anthems, Brazil v Serbia. BBC1 have guy mobray commentating so I've switched to red button but I dont think I'll be able to stand these idiots commentating on here. Why cant I choose just crowd noise like we could during covid.
    Ah well. Lets hope the footie is good.
