At the moment, I would take anything that might give us a wee bit of spark! PP has never been a prolific goal scorer but maybe he could form a little bit of a threat with Fletcher. Just hoping that we can generate a wee bit of luck during this run in. Our midfielders are woefully shot shy compared to other teams and with Levitt out...then we are even more shot shy! Now would be a very helpful time to go on a wee winning streak!

A wee winning streak, of even ONE game! Just to remember what it's like to win a game. I don't think I can even remember the last time we got a win - was it really the 1-0 v St Johnstone? Tony Watt - remember him?

So we have a player that, if fit, can undoubtedly add to the team for the last 10 games and you don't want to see him play because he's 'not the answer'? We might as well just wave the white flag now then, eh? Bizarre.

He is probably just getting fit in time to be Injured again in time for the split, should never have been handed an extension due to his Injuries, but yeah why as a manager wouldn't you use whatever tools you have at your disposal. It's not like he wants to be Injured. His dive within 60 seconds of coming on against Stirling uni will sadly go down in infamy however.

I think people are singling out too many players when in reality..there is not 1 single player in the team that is getting pass marks. On paper, we have a much better team than many of our rivals but we are very much just a team on paper at the moment. The inexperience of LF meant that he struggled to get a tune out of the players with his system of play. You see players like Fletcher, Levitt etc struggling badly. This was topped off by not getting the players in that would suit his system and compliment the players that we have to get the best out of them. Jim Goodwin now has the job of trying to find a way to get these players to work together without being able to buy anyone. Not impossible but probably very unlikely! So if getting PP back..then maybe it allows him to try a different shape or try and do something different. We are nearly out of options, and can p#ss with the c@ck that we have got! Do we have a better squad than the other teams at the bottom? Probably yes! Do we have a balanced squad that gets the most out of these players? Definitely not, not even close! If you can get mediocre players to play well as a team..then you will do alright..look at Livi! Our only chance of staying up is if JG finds a way of making our squad work with some sort of jungle fix! Stick Mulgrew up front with Fletcher, try Poppadom out on the wing....christ knows..but we have to throw eveything at getting out this mess!

We definitely don't have a better team than anyone else. I'm not sure why that gets persistently discussed. We are rank rotten and bottom of the table for a good reason: the team.

So we have individual players that are pretty good and would, most likely, be better in a successful team? I think so, yes. But the team is absolutely terrible and our position in the table is, 100%, justified.

spot on, i hate the on-paper saying. our players individually and collectively have shown they are not good enough for us. cant wait to see the back of all of them other than Behich

I think (with the exception of the goalkeeper) most of our first team would walk into the St Mirren, Livi, St Johnstone, Killie or County teams! In fact, I think many of them will at the end of the season! As a team...we are horrific! It just isn't working no matter what we try. Jim Goodwin is a new set of eyes on the problem but in all reality, we appear to just be moving the deckchairs around on the titanic! January was the opportunity to repair the hole the iceberg made but instead..we decided to make a couple of more holes!
