    re: O/T Film Thread

I just watched Kickboxer for the first time since i was around 10. Bloody hell that films terrible. Just goes to show, a bit of scrapping and a bit of blood made a good film when you were a nipper.

The brothers, one with a yank accent and one with a Belgian accent?

    The eagle?

    The fight scenes?

The soundtrack including songs with lyrics like this " never surrender, never say die, youve got the heart of a hero"

    Terrible

Pac if you want some similar soundtrack stuff go listen to No Easy Way Out fae Rocky 4. Thought it was by Stallones brother Frank but apparently its some bloke called Robert Tepper. Impossible to listen to it without thinking of South Park.

Oh my, oh my. Now pay attention all.
The Witch (lauded by critics on rotten tomatoes) is f uckin garbage. Seriously f uckin garbage. Start to finish. No redeemable qualities at all whatsoever. Desperately would like my money back from that. Dreadful, dreadful movie.

I watched Control again the other day. Like some of the music I like, it was grim but fantastic.

    High Rise.
Trying to think what to say about this strange film. It's like going to an art gallery and listening to some po faced ****s, standing in front of some surrealistic impressionist painting, each giving a different interpretation of what it represents. Then someone like myself comes along, stands back for a good overview and says simply, "It's pish".

Can't even begin to think who might be interested in this film, or why.
