Sometimes you have to play long ball and Saturday was like this we made the blades do this a lot by pushing up and closing down the space for large parts of the game

critisising long ball is all well and good but to play constantly out from the back you need very high class midfielders a la Barcelona who at times used what were effectively a g/keeper and 8/9 midfielders and a striker. As to Vyner I wonder if he is going to turn out like Emmanuel and get better and better as the season progresses.Just a thought
TBF to Wilder both his immediate post match press conference and the 13 minute one yesterday he praised the Millers wholeheartedly
Watched Rotherham for the first time in ages. My thoughts were of a quick tempo'd game. Rotherhams defense wobbled a little and one up front was not enough. Proctor is a finisher more than Smithy We need both on the pitch this enables Trowel more space in Midfield and when needed to drop back and help out the defense.
