The ironic thing about Birmingham, the Snouters and Derby is that they,ve undertaken some very creative accountancy practices to overspend and yet it hasn't helped them at all.
When all the dust is settled they are all panicking and trying to shift blame onto us because they are in a relegation battle with RUFC and little old Wycombe
I see it as they’re doing it to stay afloat and avoid even more deductions. You can only sell a stadium once so it’s pretty desperate and not sustainable at all. Looks like some good teams/biggish clubs coming up from a competitive League One so they may all be in the same position again next year as presumably they won’t be able to invest much in new players. Or maybe they’ll all find more magic money trees while we do things by the book. Still rather be in our position and looking forward with optimism, even if we get relegated, than a big club struggling to keep from crumbling.
I first posted about the EFL appealing a Independent panel hearing on the 27th March 2021, now being said the EFL
have won their appeal, against Derby County.
But they have waited until the 2020-21 season is over, to release the findings of the appeal, with a points deduction
coming up, but carried over to next season.
Derby County have broke some of the rules this season, so the penalty should be given this season, & they should
be relegated, which would then mean Wycombe Wanderers stay in the championship.
The EFL is bending over backwards for Derby County, time for new blood on these committees, it seems they all
sh*t in the same pot.
