Sadly, the agents even get their cut in a free transfer because they are involved in salary negotiations, extras etc., etc.
Nothing ever happens without an agent's involvement because they just see pots of money which is available and they are GREEDY!

They get a pie every home game and one of our vastly inflated new seats behind Sean - take it or leave it agents - we are Burnley super Burnley from the North.

    ....and another.

Maxwel Cornet undergoes medical ahead of Burnley move

Saber Desfarges reports this evening that Maxwel Cornet is currently undergoing his medical ahead of a permanent move to Premier League side Burnley.

The Ivorian wide man will sign a five-year deal with the club, with Cornet expected to put pen to paper on his contract tomorrow.

L’Équipe had reported earlier today that the transfer fee, which is now expected to facilitate upcoming arrivals at Lyon, is set at €17m, with the two clubs reaching an agreement despite Cornet’s previous preference for Hertha Berlin.

Any rumours about McNeill moving on yet ? It would seem the logical next step.
