If Connelly is a "far far" better player, then we are in huge trouble at the centre back position when suspension/injuries kick in! Watson has been murdered at right back as well, exposed by pace. Do we keep him? Do we have a choice?
Anyone that comes in now must be better than the guy holding the shirt, not just back-up players.
Still pleasing (not for them) that NC, PP, CS ,OS can't get in the team (yet) and I wouldn't "rest" Benji yet , but we now have another decent keeper waiting in the wings.
