Thot Connolly had his best game since before the play offs last year. Could have been 3 or 4 up after 20 mins then really dropped off it.

Pawlett looked better central but once again we looked better when he wasnt on the pitch but biggest change for me was Harkes for Powers.

Yip, good fighting performance. Had a feeling we'd win tonight. Good subs by Neilson. Harkes for Powers was an obvious one. Pawlett was having a good game in the middle but faded very quickly. McMullan still frustrating as ever. Not sure on the formation. It left Shankland isolated for long periods. Bingham looks useful. Two awesome assists. What I liked about him was when he lost possession he was the first player trying to win it back. Poor by Connolly for the goal but he was everywhere in the second half.

Its not over till its over, but that was a massive win tonight. Confident the league is ours now.

    Is that right? 13?

Terrible conditions for football, so it would be unfair to analyse the performance too much.
Great effort from the lads, got the job done.
Well done Robbie on the substitutions and well done every single Arab that came out in that weather.

Groundsman has some job now though.
I blame you and your forecast for the state of the pitch mate.

It was typical of season as a whole. Shanks ability to score got us there.

I don’t think any real doubt now that title will be won and back where we belong.

No chance any team below us will get enough points to catch us - never mind the fact that we will continue to pick up points ourselves.

Connolly is interesting. Great attitude but prone to the odd error. Can’t question his heart and desire to win for United. Played with nasty injury to his head.

Slightly worried when Robbie brought on Reynolds and invited them on at the end.

Reminded me of horror show of Rossco last season when we conceded late. No need to change shape and tremarco had chance for them at the end but thankfully he was not good enough to take it.

Some great performances in there. Should not forget Benji, Watson, Robson and Liam Smith at the back who have contributed all season.

Harkes and Mcmullan coming on made a difference

    Still not convinced by Powers

Pawlett only plays well in patches and had faded badly

    Quite impressed with Bingham

Interesting? So 4 wins plus a draw from our next 5 guarantees it. Depending on other results could be a lot less. Canna be arsed looking at any other teams fixtures but can anyone else want to make an educated guess?

13 points from 11 matches required - plus it’s actually 1 less as goal difference much better.

We average over 2 points a game.

Let’s say next 3 we get 7 points.

ICT / Ayr/ Arbroath drop about 3 or 4 in that time.

The match in 4 games time could potentially seal it.

If we do it then that will mean we have claimed it earlier than Hearts in 2015

    Would be a fantastic achievement

    15:00
    Alloa
    Friday 27th March

    SCOTTISH CHAMPIONSHIP
    Arbroath

Our next fixtures are quite tricky.

If we don’t win it by Alloa at home it will be Arbroath away for the title party.

Very very likely now we will win the title in March
