McFadden says one of the reasons he thinks McInnes would take the WBA job is because they're in a good position financially and he'll have a chance to go and build something that's his at West Brom.
Thats not what the West Brom chief executive is saying in another bbc article.

McFadden can **** right off.
That said, you can't really blame the papers. He has already spent a couple of weeks in talks with Sunderland and then the whole Sevco fiasco.
Yeah, there’s no conflict of interest is there?
McFadden, ex Motherwell player and coach. Motherwell who need to beat us tonight to have a chance of making top 6.
Hope McInnes pins this to the dressing room wall, tells the players it’s sh!te and to make sure we beat Motherwell tonight.

If offered, he will take it. WBA will be a good fit for them and him in the Championship.
But I don't think he will be offered it.
However, they are not looking to appoint any new manager till the summer. Or, maybe looking at it another way, they are not looking to announce, or commence employment with, any new manager till the summer, which means interviews could be held soon, and we could have this sh1t hanging over us until then, at a massive juncture in the season.
McInnes will be asked the question tonight by the radio boys, before and after the game, and will give the usual response - "nothing to comment on."
Hopefully, we have Jack Ross sounded out, plus a few other, just as a matter of course irrespective of what happens with the WBA vacancy. Forward planning
