I'm not convinced having one person doing the recruitment is a sensible way to do it to be honest. They should have the final day, absolutely, but there is too much in this there has to be more than one person involved or you'll limit your potential targets simple due to time constraints.

Wonder how much we got for him? Says 6 figure sum. Hibs initially priced him at 200k. Hopefully see on clause and we haven’t done it in the cheap.

Conor Kearns playing with Shelbourne in the League of Ireland is a keeper well worth looking at. 25 years old. Wouldn't cost a fortune. Capped at u19 level. Good shot stopper. Comfortable on the ball.

Generally I'd agree with you, but there has been occasions in past when I've said similar and nothing has happened. Problem when you come down as well, generally you have a less settled side than your rivals due to turmoil/turnover.

I think that getting Levitt off the books, may well free up some cash to pay off the keeper and we will probably see a couple of new faces in before the week is out.

Not much cash by the sounds of it. That’s a brilliant signing for hibs. We seemed in a rush to move him on, think of we‘d waited a bit we could have drummed up more interest and got a better few.
