With Logan out for 2 weeks as well it leaves us with TWO defenders.
I suppose Shinnie can comfortably go in at LB, but even today McInnes didn’t keep him there long.
I wonder if Nowak is still there & on trial?
Will be get a contract until January?

Ideal world, we sign the following before transfer window closes:
    - a defender.
    - a winger.
    - at least one striker. Preferably two (highly unlikely).
Ball, Devlin, Considine and Shinnie are defenders. We have four first team defenders available at the moment but only 1 goal scoring forward who is a young lad with next to no experience. I know where my preference of signing players is but our manager likes to address his defensive approach before thinking about scoring goals.

    Ball is a defensive midfielder.
Clearly NOT a full back either, as today showed.
He is trying to sign a striker.
We had a big turned down for one on Friday.
    That’s not his fault.
It’s either Milne’s or simply we can’t afford what that club want.

Ball is a very good defensive midfielder, don't let a drama get in the way of your nonsense.

What are you gibbering on about?!
I said Ball was a defensive midfielder & not a full back.
WTF is your problem with that exactly.
You agreed with me so WTF are you on about?

I agree with you about Ball but our manager will still utilise him as a defender as proven today.
I disagree about not securing a striker though as that should have been sorted before Rooney left the building. We maybe have had bids turned down for strikers but surely that should have been a reason to keep our top goal scorer instead of leaving the club short up front. Bad management unfortunately.

Ball a defensive midfielder, how about until the injury/suspension problem is sorted we could actually play him as a sweeper.
Playing at rightback is not his position and he is more prone to making costly errors in that position.

    No.
Defensive midfield or not at all unless there isn’t anyone else.
    Twice he’s played RB.
First game he was hooked after having an horrific 45 minutes in the semi final.
Today he was caught wrong side & gave away a needless penalty (although Windass dived).
He’s not a defender as far as I can see

Don't believe what comes out of the official club channels.

Don't be surprised if a deal is done to sell him by Thursday.
