They're all over the comment threads on anything Alan Hardy says. Some of the condescending stuff they post is so stereotypical of Forest fans. We're forever in their shadow. Their little brother. The bucket thing again of course. If they didn't care about us they wouldn't be dominating the comments.
You know what? I think they're genuinely worried that we're no longer the badly run mob across the river and that they may (in a year or two) have their local dominance threatened.
The comments remind why I detest a large proportion their fanbase. Such boorish oafs! Not all of them of course, some of my best friends are proper Reds fans.
I know it's only a year into the current regime and only the beginning of their latest one but it isn't utterly beyond the realms of possibility that we could meet them in a league Derby just 6 months from now.
To quote Kevin Keegan, 'And I'll tell you, honestly, I will love it if we beat them. Love it.'

I think what really hurts them is the realisation that they are a very average second tier side. Their fans still view NFFC as a top flight side and expect promotion each season. 19 years outside the top flight now and despite numerous manager/owner changes they never make any progress.
Unfortunately we're still way behind them but we're certainly making the gap up. We just really need to take our chance this season and get promoted. Alan Hardy is obviously very ambitious and patronising red dogs is only going to spur him on.

I’m guilty of getting involved in a few exchanges with them on Twitter. Some of the stuff posted by them is laughable. The one about ‘ we made up a large chunk of your support on Saturday ‘ made me howl.
Couldn’t understand the idiot who posted a photo of AH dressed as a sheik comparing him to Fawaz?
Let’s be honest, if people choose to use social media they should expect trolls, especially if they are in a position of public prominence. It isn’t just Forest fans that give AH grief on there, Notts fans have given him grief too.
I love the fact that some of their fans are genuinely rattled and that Notts look a club on the rise.
It's sometimes great being a certain age, you don't give a s**t....
Anyone who would still have us believe their fans 'like to see us do well' needs to take a read of that. AH is getting dog's abuse on his Twitter from them. Maybe it will open his eyes to the reality of the 'special relationship' we have with Forest.
On the bright side, the vast majority are as thick as ****, far, far more so than the average Notts fan, so at least we can feel superior on that score. And also, they don't even enjoy being in the Championship because they see themselves as a massive club, whereas we would love it.
