They don't trouble me much BT, virtue-signalling morons shovelling my tax contributions in their direction I can do nothing about, so I don't lose any sleep over that either. i But if I was a citizen of say Gaza, I would be troubled, mightily troubled, about what these holy warriors are going to dream up next, in order to provoke Israel into raining death and destruction down on my and my children's heads.
To be honest though, troubled isn't the right word, kacking my pants would be a more appropriate description of what it must feel like to have Hamas responsible for my family's safety and welfare.

We've been here before BT, I've outlined my peace plan to ameliorate the plight of the Palestinian children but as yet Hamas has not responded.

1) Keep your children well away from the border.
2) Stop firing missiles into Israel.
3) Inform the USA, the EU, Russia and the UN that you wish to begin negotiating a peaceful resolution to the Palestinian/Israeli conflict.

These bewildered extremist fired like 600 rockets from Gaza into Israel,in 2 days ,maybe some landed in Gaza itself. In S'derot which is a mile away you have about 15 secs to find an air raid shelter ,or similar.I was there in 2009, air raid shelters already were built then.
When parents hear the sirens ,it's grab your kids quickly as possible,or to sleep every night in the shelters.

One woman in my village (a kibutz ) comes from a kibutz in the Jordan valley ,she told me all her childhood was spent in an air raid shelter.

Here are photos I took after a Katyusha rocket had fallen ,and I tried to take it out of the ground,a souvenir! Impossible to budge it ,and that ground was not soil but rock or stones.

Starting with Palestinian media, then picked up by Quds News Network, Al Jazeera (AJ+) then spread through social media, the story that Aisha a-Lulu, 5, of Gaza had died of cancer ‘alone’ and prevented from being accompanied by her parents was completely debunked as ‘just another lie’ to demonize Israel.

“Contrary to reports, Aisha a-Lulu passed away in the Gaza Strip after having returned to her home approximately two weeks ago after surgery, which unfortunately did not succeed in the Al-Maqasid Hospital [in Jerusalem].”

Other news outlets, such as the Palestinian news agency WAFA, reported that a-Lulu had died in Gaza, but said that Israel had prevented her parents from accompanying her to Jerusalem for treatment.

According to WAFA, Minister of Health Mai Alkaila told reporters “How can a little child travel alone through Israeli checkpoints without being escorted by her mother, father or brother to provide her with affection and psychological support during treatment?”

“We emphasize that CLA Gaza policy requires parents to escort their minor children for medical treatments, based on the understanding that children need their parents in moments such as these.

“However, in this case, Aisha’s parents did not wish to accompany her and therefore, in accordance with CLA policy, they were requested to sign a declaration that they choose not to escort their daughter during the course of her treatment, due to their own choice, and request that another party on their behalf escort her,” COGAT said.

Don’t blindly accept ‘facts’ provided by the parties involved

The best journalists are fearless, independent voices, who refuse to act as the mouthpiece of any cause or interest. Unfortunately, it’s not always easy to meet this noble principle when reporting from this war-torn corner of the world.

It’s beyond the scope of most reporters in Israel or Gaza to independently confirm whether those killed in a given incident really were the casualties of Israeli attacks, as Gazan sources might (initially) claim, as opposed to an instance of a Hamas or Islamic Jihad rocket which fell short and killed Gazans.

At the very least, however, reporters in Israel should make clear what each side is claiming, rather than blindly repeating the assertions statistics provided by one side alone. This also includes the statistics provided by the Hamas-run Gaza Ministry of Health about the number of civilians and terrorists killed. It’s not enough for reporters in Israel or Gaza to “cite” Palestinian health sources, UN agencies, or NGOs as their sources — journalists must make clear to readers that the figures should be treated with a dose of skepticism.

With the Ministry run by Hamas officials, it is not an independent body in the same way that the health ministry of a democratic state is. Similarly, a source from one side alone is not enough. journalists should make sure to include Israeli estimates, especially if they are later confirmed by the Palestinians.

In the meantime over 1.4 million Palestine refugees are currently living in Gaza. The Israeli blockade and severe restrictions on the movement of people and goods have left the economy in shambles and unemployment is unprecedented.

Most of the Gaza residents are barred from leaving Gaza in search of employment, as a consequence the destitute Palestine refugees must rely on support from foreign aid to meet their daily needs.

Over 80% of people living in Gaza need humanitarian assistance and over one million people rely on emergency food assistance as their main source of food.

Thank God at least someone in the British Government actually gives a toss.

Absolutely shocking BT, and what is Hamas doing to ameliorate the appalling conditions these people exist under ? Apart from firing the occasional rocket indiscriminately over the border into Israel ? Or maybe I'm missing something here, and these missiles do help the 1.4 million Palestinian refugees in Gaza ? You would know BT, what is it I'm missing, just how do they ameliorate the conditions of these destitute refugees ?

After all the donations come in to them ,from all over the world ,its clear the Hamas leadership cares phoock all about its people, shoite all, in fact, plus they do nothing to advance the poverty situation, (if there is poverty !), therefore your wads of cash only go to help their war effort and delays any peace agreement in the future.
