Probably both, he admitted so himself. If you can ride some of the crude challengers he faced in div 2 then the prem/ championship must seem like a doddle although he took plenty of stick in the play off final.
It also blows away your theory Notts can't attract loanees from bigger clubs because we have had quite a few even 2 last season from the mighty reds

I hope he's not up to no good. These young lads ....
Especially old folks like i961pie must be wary of them. They might snatch his walker or hide his false teeth. No respect for the elderly these young boys....

    You wish!
No wonder the horse wanted nothing to do with you.
It reckoned a shotgun would be appearing next when it spotted you. It was afraid it might be next.

Btw have you tried horse meat before?
You should find it rather easily. Meadow Lane sounds like a place they put old ponies out to pasture!
    Hahaha

Yeah I can see it now.

    Scenario:

    Doorbell rings, wife answers.

Wife: Honey there's several armed police outside looking for you.

Me goes to the door and spots a dozen armed police from Malaysia's anti-terrorism unit. I speak to the senior officer.

Officer what terrorism am I accused of engaging?

SO: Sorry to trouble you Mr William. But we have a warrant issued by Interpol for you.

    Me: Interpol? Terror related then?

SO: Oh no sir nothing like that.
It seems you called some dumb old Notts County fan a senile old codger and he's reported it to Nottingham Police and they contacted Scotland Yard. Since you're out of the country, they've issued a Red Notice through Interpol!

Me: Really? Oh wow score 1 for the anti-ageism codger brigade. You'd better grab me then and don't waste time. The old codger might go any minute and the case and warrant becomes moot!

I lost count after 34. But I do remember a few things about my birth.

    1. There was the World Cup that year.

    2. Alf Ramsey was England manager.

    3. Labour was still in Govt.

    4. Paul VI was Pope.

    5. Muhammad Ali wasn't World Champion.
