    .

its not as bad as it seems.....we dont even need a midfield - all Burnley need do, is get back to proper tiresome repetitive basics - non football, slow up the game, all hands to the defence, keeps the goals down...then long ball it / a quick break or set piece goal, perhaps from defensive errors - and we're back to good again.....course, I still wont be watching it.

    It's negative time again.

Football goes in cycles, you win some you lose some. There are two elite teams at present in the EPL, the rest are just making the numbers up. Everton and ManUre are current prime examples of clubs who have spent hundreds of millions and got them absolutely nowhere.

Losing three on the bounce is not good, but Wet Spam are next up, so along with 20,000 fellow Clarets supporters I will be raising the roof and hope for a change in fortune.

    Come on you Clarets.

I'd agree that 14 or so are just making the numbers up in the PL BT, and that Clubs have Cycles, and we seem to be in a downward one, not a sudden happening, but one that's been rearing its head for at least 2 years with little being done to stop it.

    Our last three games:
    Robbed at Leicester.
    Outclassed by Chelsea.
    Overran by Sheffield United.
SD knows how to sort it and he will.

You're right BT, we've had these blips before, and every time after a bad defeat Sean's turned it round immediately. Boxing Day (I think it was) at Hull a couple of years ago and Boxing Day against Everton last season are two that spring to mind. Will it happen again ? We'll see, but we've been tempting fate for a while now by not strengthening the team, and you know what they say, you don't need to go looking for trouble, it'll find you easily enough.

I don't want to sing from Alto's hymn sheet sinkov, but with our limited resources spunking millions in fees and wages on Wells, Vydra, Gibson, Drinkwater, & Hart seems rather phucking illogical. Just proves to me, that SD is human and as fallible as the rest of us mere mortals!
I hope we can resolve some of these issues in January.

"I hope we can resolve some of these issues in January" So do I BT, the longer its not addressed the harder and more expensive it will be to build a reasonable team/squad.

The way McNeil went about his business today, we will almost certainly have at the very least £35 million to address the squad strengthening issue in January.

OMG! He is worth the admission money on his own. His left foot really is a magic wand, he gets whip and pace on almost every delivery. What a find this kid is.
